A group of kids on holiday in Cornwall meet a magical creature on the beach with the power to grant wishes. I have no conection to the source material. the idea is there but there lacked the focus. It could have been better, but it's not a new story and it does not improve compared to any.
The kid has it right, and that's one of the problems with the underwhelming family fantasy film Four Kids and It, which is light on the magic and heavy on the dumbness. Four kids embark on the ultimate journey to discover if a magical creature can really make all their wishes come true.
